Nicole Gagne is a destination wedding photographer based on the west coast.

She walks the line between editorial and documentary style photography. She can read the room and lean into whatever it calls for. Sometimes that means gently offering direction, other times it’s stepping back and observing as real moments unfold on their own.

What draws her to weddings isn't perfection, but instead, it’s the beautiful, (sometimes) messy, emotional, and fleeting nature of the day. She thrives in the chaos of the getting-ready rooms, the moments when something goes slightly awry and everyone ends up giggling together, the way people gather on a dance floor. Every wedding is unique to the couple being celebrated, and to the people who come to share in the joy with them.

One of the most common phrases in Nicole’s family growing up was, “Life is about making memories.” Somewhere along the way, she realized her passion was documenting them.
